West Coast has been beaten by the Tigers in another disappointing home-game performance.

The Eagles regain Liam Ryan and brought experienced duo Tim Kelly and Jack Petruccelle back from the WAFL but they couldn’t match the young Tigers for speed as they torched turnovers.

Eagles had a decent night stats-wise but their errors and inability to find targets inside 50 left the door open for Richmond all night.

Recap the action from our blog.

Early signs

The only thing the Eagles are doing wrong at the moment is kicking behinds.

They lead the inside 50 8-1 and lead the clearances by two after being belted last week.

Their forward pressure is up and about and they are running in numbers to get the ball forward.

McQualter will be keen for some better entries rather than kicking to the pack.

Lively Liam!

West Coast give up the first goal but Liam Ryan gets it back after being awarded a free kick in the pack.

Williams took a strong clunk anyway.

There are good early signs for the Eagles with Reid and Kelly getting the ball through the middle and Duggan running off half back.
