Silver Ferns for gold
In the end it’s New Zealand that will leave Glasgow as the gold medalists, beating Jamaica 56-48.
In the first ever gold medal match that didn’t feature the Diamonds, who won bronze earlier today.
The Silver Ferns win their first Commonwealth Gold since the 2010 Games in Delhi, while Jamaica repeat as silver medalists.

It’s an unsightly scene seeing the gold medal netball match get underway without the Diamonds.
Either Jamaica or New Zealand will become champions in Glasgow.
Delgado, Reynolds go undefeated!
Para pair Damien Delgado and James Reynolds have capped off their undefeated run at the Commonwealth Games with a gold medal.
It was a dominant lawn bowls display in the final, sweeping New Zealand in the final match with 8-1 and 7-2 set wins.
The duo erupted with emotion after the final shot, and go home champions.

Set one win
Damien Delgado and James Reynolds overwhelmed New Zealand in the first set, winning 8-1.
They are one set away from the gold medal.
One more gold medal chance
Another Aussie has a chance to add the gold medal tally, Kayhan Ozcicek-Takagi’s semi-final match was a gruelling bout.
The near seven minute contest left both competitors absolutely gassed, but Canada’s John Messe A Bessong received the losing yellow card to put it to an end.
In the final judo match of the Commonwealth Games, Ozcicek-Takagi will face Cyprus’ Giannis Antoniou for gold.
Swan’s song
Maria Swan’s quick score against Canada’s Coralie Godbout was enough to win her way into the gold medal match.
The 78kg fighter will face England’s Emma Reid, and will have a bit of respite before she marches back to the tatami just after 10pm AWST.
