Tinka Easton picked up a win in the judo via yuko, timing out her opponent Shradda Chopade from India.
It was a closely bouted contest that went down to golden score.
Long jump leader
Brooke Buschkuel has topped the second group in the long jump qualifers.
Clocking a season best 6.83m jump, she had no concerns about making the finals.
Fife too good
Ellen Fife has collected another win for the lawn bowls, sweeping her opponent for a 2-0 win.
Trainor boxing for bronze
Paul Trainor will box for the bronze medal after he was outmatched against the quick striking Dimeji Shittu.
The 24-year-old put up a fair fight, but ran into the Englishman that looks a favourite for gold.
Scored 30-27 for a 5-0 unanimous loss, Trainor will now box Canadian Joshua Ofori for bronze.
Australia swept
It was an 0-3 result for Australia in the eighth sprint finals, after Alessia McCaig was outclassed by Olympic champion Ellesse Andrews.
Photo finish
It was an event tighter race between Molly McGill and England’s Kate Marchant, but the Australian lost by a 0.012 margin in her games debut.
Slimmest margin loss
The women sprint eighth finals has seen the first Aussie domino fall, Liliya Tatarinoff losing to Wales’ Rhian Edmunds.
The knockout race saw Edmunds take the lead, but the Aussie was threatening and looked dangerously close to catching her late but just couldn’t close the final gap.
Just a 0.039 second margin seperated the winner and loser.
Go for gold Cassar
Jacob Cassar didn’t require a miracle comeback this time around, beating Khoahli via unanimous decision.
The judges all agreed that the Aussie left no doubt about the winner overwhelmingly scoring 30-27 for a 5-0 scorecard.
He will fight the winner of England’s Patris Mughalzai and Zambia’s Emmanuel Katema for the gold medal.
Judo flying
Vas Middleton has picked up another elimination round win in the Judo, with preceedings flying on the mats.
Bronze on the cards
Felicity Wilson-Haffenden will race for bronze following all the solo pursuit qualifiers.
She set a new games record early, but that was beaten another three times.
No other Aussie will contend.
