Joshua Katz should take pride in his hard fought silver medal, following the final match loss to India’s Harsh Singh.

Neither competitor could find an edge in the evenly matched contest, but a slip in concentration from Katz gave Singh an opportunity to score.

It finished as a 10-0 contest and Katz bows out with the silver.

World number 33 Pedro Carlos Antun Neto has won a bronze medal for Australia in the 60kg judo contest.
