The third fastest 50 on Test debut by an Australian edging Sam Konstas’ Boxing Day heroics in Melbourne.
He whips a single off his hips to bring it up in 51 balls.

Khawaja’s slice of history
Two years ago he was cruelly denied his first double ton when captain Pat Cummins declared with Khawaja on 195 in a rain-affected Test against South Africa at the SCG, which ended in a draw.
Now he stands alongside Don Bradman as the only Australian over 38 to make 200.
