Hello!
Innings defeat avoided
Australia have at least managed to ensure Bangladesh will need to bat again to win the game.
Imagine saying that on Thursday morning!
The new ball is now available to Bangladesh, and they have taken it.
AUS 7-228
Green standing solid
Despite wickets falling around him, there’s been no sign of any major uptick in aggression from Cam Green yet.
In fact, we went early on that call - he has just slog swept Taijul Islam for four to go along to 72.
AUS 7-223
Shot from Starc
Mitchell Starc is away, having punched Taijul Islam off the back foot to the cover boundary for four.
The Australian No.9 may well try to have a dip here.
AUS 7-212
Cummins goes
Mehidy Hasan Miraz now has his third wicket of the morning in Pat Cummins, with the Australian captain’s inside edge claimed by Shadman Islam at short leg.
Australia still trail by 21.
AUS 7-207
Cummins in
Pat Cummins has been central to some famous rearguards with the bat, and will be hoping against hope to pull off another one here.
The captain has moved along to eight from 27 balls.
AUS 6-206
Spin twins
Bangladesh’s seamers were the stars of their bowling attack across the first three days, and their spinners have stepped up on day four.
As he did last night, Mehidy Hasan Miraz (3-29 from 21 overs) has bowled superbly today, and Taijul Islam (1-37 from 13 overs) has also threatened.
AUS 6-200
Drinks as Bangladesh close in
Drinks are on the field at Darwin’s TIO Stadium as Bangladesh close in on their most famous victory.
Winning by an innings is well and truly on the cards, with their spinners finding plenty of help from the surface.
AUS 6-195
Webster goes!
Bangladesh are now on the charge in Darwin!
Beau Webster is gone, having been undone by a Mehidy Hasan Miraz straight break which did not turn.
Australia still trail by 35.
AUS 6-193
Webster survives drop
Beau Webster appeared to offer a difficult catching chance Bangladesh could not take.
A bottom-edged sweep shot also took a healthy deflection from his thigh pad, but wicketkeeper Litton Das grassed the ball behind the stumps.
AUS 5-192
Webster away
Having been tied down early, Australia’s No.7 Beau Webster has got away with a sublime cover drive which raced to the boundary.
The all-rounder has been tasked with plenty of rebuild jobs in his international career, but this may be his biggest yet.
AUS 5-187
