Despite the dire situation, Channel Seven experts Ricky Ponting and Matthew Hayden are expecting big things from Australia’s batters today.

Hayden called the surface at Darwin’s TIO Stadium a “very, very good wicket” with “lots of runs” left in it, and Ponting said the remaining players would have “no excuses”.
