Boxing Day Test: Follow the latest on Day 1 as Australia look to take series lead against India
Sam Konstas had an unbelievable debut on the Test stage as Australia finally saw solid top-order runs only for Jaspirt Bumrah to haul India back once again.

BUMRAH GETS KHAWAJA
It’s perhaps the worst ball he’s bowled this morning a drag down on leg stump but Khawaja somehow gets his attempted pull off the toe end of the bat straight to KL Rahul at mid-wicket.
Bumrah covers his face in disbelief and after all his hard work Khawaja has thrown this away.
Australia bring up 150
Jadeja is now operating from one end as Labuschagne peirces the offside field with a drive for a couple.
Siraj is continuing from the other end but the plays and misses have certainly died down.
Both Labuschagne and Khawaja happy to grind their way through this session but Labuschagne brings up the Aussie 150 with a lovely drive straight down the ground for four.
He uses his wrists to flick three through midwicket.
50 partnership
Khawaja whips Siraj off his toes for a single to bring up the 50 partnership with Labuschagne off 115 balls.
It’s been chalk and cheese compared to the first session but an important partnership to keep India toiling in the sweltering heat.
Konstas reflects on stunning debut.
“It was a bit of a blur but a dream come true,” Konstas says speaking to Trent Copeland on Seven.
“The boys have been really welcoming, it wasn’t a plan to bring about the ramp but I just tried to put some pressure back on Bumrah.”
On Kohli
“I think the emotions got to both of us I didn’t really realise what happened initially I was just doing my walk down the other end.”
Kohli could be punished for Konstas contact
“This long shot that’s been provided by the director is really interesting because it shows Virat Kohli actually changing his line to get into the personal space of Sam Konstas,” Seven’s Simon Taufel says.
“Now, there’s a clause within the ICC Code of Conduct that talks about inappropriate physical contact and that’s the clause that the umpires and the referee will be looking at, at close of play today to see whether or not Virat’s actions fall into that category and my suggestion would be that they’ll probably – looking at that seriously – more than likely do something about that now.”

India bring on the all-rounder
Bowling change as Nitish Reddy replaces the luckless Deep for his first spell of the day.
Labuschagne drives a full wide ball for one.
Khawaja misses the flick but gets a leg bye off his pads, a fairly gentle first over.
India have loaded up on bowling options with the addition of Sundar to partner Jadeja while keeping Reddy but India have been using their front line seamers for the most part.
Australia 1/134
EDGED FOUR! Labushcagne takes on the pull and the top edge flies over Pant for four.
Better Shot. Labushcagne flicks two off his toes out to square leg.
Off the hip this time for one. It’s been a tough hour post lunch for Marnus but he’s hanging in there for the moment.
50 FOR UZZIE
FOUR! He nails Deep with a straight drive down the ground.
FOUR MORE! Throws hands at some which and it’s edged through the vacant gulley region for another boundary to bring up a hard earned 50.
His first of the summer and there’s a wide smile as he acknowledges the crowd.
OUCH!
Labushcagne cops one on the groin from Siraj with one that moves in.
AGAIN. Straight into the unmentionables and this time Labuschagne is down for a bit longer as he needs a breather.
It’s funny for everyone but him of course as he gets back up to play out another maiden.
CLOSE!
Bumrah catches Labuschagne’s edge but soft hands drop it just short of Kholi at second slip.
A misfield finally breaks the shackles as Marnus gets his first run after lunch through midwicket off a no-ball.
