Cricket: The series may be decided, but plenty of pride will be on the line in the fifth and final Test of The Ashes between Australia and England at the SCG.

The tourists were able to put what had been a torrid tour where they surrendered the urn inside 11 match days behind them by claiming their first victory on Australian shores in 15 years in a fast-forward Boxing Day Test.

Australia’s hopes of a 5-0 whitewash were swept away with the loss, but Steve Smith’s side will be looking to ensure England are sent home with a bitter taste in their mouths.

LUNCH ENGLAND 1-80 trail by 103

A great session for England and a poor one for Australia, who didn’t bowl particularly well before Green’s horror drop gave Duckett a life.

It was a shocking misjudgment and a microcosm of his series.

Runs flowed at more than five an over and Australia re in desperate need of a reset.

17th Over - ENG 1-80

Last over before lunch, can Green put that behind him?

Bethell works a single.

Duckett gets a single off the last and that’s lunch.

Green drops Duckett

Neser returns. Five minues until lunch.

DROPPED! Cam Green’s Ashes horror conintues as Neser finds the edge and Green moves across Smith at first slip and spills it!

Would have gone straight to Smith, and the captain is fuming! Green dares not look at him.

Duckett is squared up but it lands safe for one.

Bethell bunts one backward of square.

FOUR! Overpitched and driven for four as Ducket moves to his highest score of the series.

Duckett works one to backward point.

FOUR! Brutal short ball flies off Bethell’s shoulder over the slips for another boundary. There’s a delay as the physio comes out.

Ducks out of the way of antoher short ball.

14th Over - ENG 1-65

Leading edge from Bethell beats Weatherald at backward point for four!.

FOUR! Full wide and Bethell nails the drive through backward point for four.

FOUR! Short and Duckett pulls off the front foot to bring up England’s 50.

Beaten again! Back outside off and it bounces over Duckett’s late cut.

Popped up! Extra bounce takes the shoulder of the bat but it lands safe.

FOUR MORE! Short again and Duckett pulls forward of square to bring up the 50 partnership.
