Cricket: Hometown heroes Travis Head and Alex Carey resume as Australia look to bury England’s Ashes hopes in Adelaide as they eye a 3-0 lead.
Head (142) brought up his fourth consecutive 100 in Adelaide and will resume alongside Alex Carey (52) as they look to put England’s hopes to bed, leading by 356 runs.
Eyes will also be on Ben Stokes after he was unable to bowl an day three with his fitness under a cloud.

Australia’s innings wrapped up!
Jofra Archer has ended Australia’s innings, with Scott Boland popping a bouncer up in the air to be dismissed caught and bowled.
The hosts will be looking for the first of the 10 wickets they will need to win the Ashes in the approximately 10 minutes which will be played before lunch, while England are staring down a record-breaking chase of 434.

Scott Boland survived the hat-trick ball, leaving a wide Brydon Carse delivery well outside off stump alone.
Mitchell Starc then drove the England seamer down the ground for four, encapsulating a series where he has captured some wickets but been very expensive.

Brydon Carse is on a hat-trick after knocking over Nathan Lyon lbw!
The Australian spinner did review the decision as his side had enough left to do so but walked off the ground and was shown to be trapped dead in front.

England already needed to break all sorts of records to win this Test and keep themselves in the Ashes.
But Australia’s lead has now ticked up to 425, ahead of the 418 which stands as the greatest ever fourth-innings chase in the game’s history.

England’s primary weapon has been held back this morning but Ben Stokes has taken the second new ball and introduced Jofra Archer into the attack.
After coming in for heavy criticism in Brisbane, he has been one of few players for the tourists who has been able to hold their head high here, backing up a first-innings five-wicket haul with a half-century.
England called for a review thinking Mitchell Starc had gloved his second delivery of the day down the leg side but replays showed it had come off his thigh pad.

England are at least doing their best to mop up Australia quickly this morning, with Josh Inglis quickly following Alex Carey.
Inglis edged a nice delivery from Josh Tongue through to wicketkeeper Jamie Smith to depart for 10.

England captain Ben Stokes has bowled a solid spell this morning and has earned some reward, picking up Alex Carey for 72.
Carey gloved a short ball right into a trap which had been set with Harry Brook at leg gully, but has played his part of batting Australia into a dominant position.

England thought they had another breakthrough, with Josh Inglis given out lbw off the bowling of captain Ben Stokes.
But the West Australian reviewed immediately and was proven correct when replays showed he had smashed the ball on to his pad.
It must be said umpires Nitin Menon and Ahsan Raza have not had a good Test.
