Premiering during today’s Boxing Day Test coverage on Seven and 7plus Sport, the on-air promo celebrates Seven’s bold and modern approach to its AFL coverage in 2025, headlined by one of the competition’s most exciting young players.

For the first time, Seven’s AFL coverage will stream live and free on 7plus Sport, delivering fans unparalleled access to the action.
The promo’s edgy vibe is amplified by US hip-hop duo Joey Valence & Brae’s track Hooligang, setting the tone for a season like no other.
Adding to the excitement, Seven welcomes AFL greats Kane Cornes and Nick Riewoldt to its all-star commentary team, joining a roster of renowned experts who will deliver the most comprehensive and thrilling coverage yet.
”I was stoked when Seven invited me to collaborate on launching the bold new era of footy in 2025,” Cody Weightman said.
“Working alongside Rory, we had the creative freedom to design a mural that captures the essence of what the future of Seven’s footy coverage will be – fresh, dynamic, and exciting, with the appetite to engage a younger audience.
“It’s not every day you’d expect street art and footy to collide, especially together with Seven and 7plus Sport, but that’s what made this project so unique. It’s a bold and unexpected way to reflect Seven’s vision for the game’s future.
“Art has always been a huge passion of mine outside the game, so having the chance to combine my creativity with a project like this was an incredible experience. I can’t wait to see how the new-look coverage comes to life next year.”
