Day 12 was a historic day in Paris as Australia surged to their best ever gold medal haul at an Olympics, is there more joy to come today?

Follow all the action live.

Here’s how his race panned out

Just wasn’t meant to be.

BOL IS OUT

He looks ok but he just does not have that final gear as he fades to finish fourth.

A great effort but after such a difficult lead in to these games perhaps it’s not surprise he’s not quite there.

Peter Bol in the repechage

He starts off well and settles into second around the first bend winners and two best times go through.

They can

Like the women they take the lead early and only power away after the 250m mark.

Serbia and Spain finish in almost a dead heat for second but it’s Serbia who just takes it.

But all three will be through to the final.

Men K4 semi final

It’s the men up next can they follow the women into the medal race?

Australia through to the final of K4 500 sprint

The women’s four event take the lead early and have half a boat from Norway and Serbia.

They manage to maintain that all the way to finish and they will go for gold medal race later tonight.

Keeney through to springboard final

She qualifies second behind China’s Chen Yiwen, who’s more than 20 points in front.

But that’s a great result for Keeney as she looks to add to her bronze in Tokyo.

Koloi does miss out finishing 14th 8 points off 12th.

Australia men’s 4x100m relay

These guys are quick.

Australia break the national record from 1995! What a terrific run but it’s only good enough for sixth.

JoshAzzopardi ran the anchor leg to take sixth in 38.12

The USA blitzed the heat in 37.47

Koloi in trouble Keeney looks safe

A 58.50 on her final dive sees the Australian hoping for other divers to have shockers.

Maddison Keeny on the other hand is almost home. She’s in ninth but still has a dive to go.

Australia 5th in 4x100m realay

Torrie Lewis looked to be coming home with a tear but the Cote d’Ivoire runner came from nowhere to run over the top of her.

They finish in fifth 0.81 seconds behind team USA in first.
