Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s final words at his former homestead the Royal Lodge are earning the title embarrassing.

The former prince was kicked out of his home of more than 20 years after the most recent release of the Epstein files exposed more details of his connected to the convicted paedophile.

Now, the details of his final moments at Windsor can be revealed.

According to The Sun, as Andrew was being evicted he starting clutching at straws, begging to stay.

“I’m the Queen’s second son, you can’t do this to me,” Andrew said.

An insider confirmed the incident and said the ex-duke, who has since been arrested on the suspicion of misconduct in public office, “refused to leave or take any responsibility”.

They said Andrew was “so arrogant and deluded” that he repeatedly shouted out the childlike phrase.

“It is extraordinary he chose to use the Queen’s name in his defence. No one is quite sure if the reality of his dire situation has hit home even yet.”

The former prince was taken into custody on his 66th birthday, his new home at Sandringham was searched alongside the Royal Lodge while he was questioned for 11 hours.

This comes as his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson may be forced to speak out about what she knows of Andrew’s conduct.

According to a source that spoke to Daily Mail, Ms Ferguson desperately wants to get back making money — but the investigation could impede this.

“She wants to get out there and start earning money again. I can’t see how she’s going to do it. Her brand is toxic,” the source said.

“Her best hope of a money-spinner is a tell-all book about how her family’s friendship with Epstein has destroyed everything and left the monarchy in crisis — but she’s ruled that out apparently.

“Besides she might end up having to tell that story to the police.”
