Suits star Patrick J Adams speaks out on Meghan Markle’s ‘insane’ experience after leaving show
‘I got a lot of eye rolls — that was a constant with Meghan.’
Meghan Markle’s former co-star has spoken out about the Duchess of Sussex’s “insane” experience in the public eye.
Patrick J Adams, who played Mike Ross on the hit TV show Suits alongside Meghan, has always been careful about making comments concerning the duchess.
Speaking to Amanda Hirsch, the host of Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, Adams commented on Meghan’s experience.

Hirsh said she received the surprise message after she had promoted Meghan’s reality TV series, With Love, Meghan, on her social media before it aired.
The full podcast episode starring Adams is yet to air, but People released a clip that sees the actor talk about the duchess.
Hirsh questioned him about his Instagram bio, which refers to Meghan.
His bio currently says: “The other guy from that show that you’re watching on that app because that girl married that prince.”
He told Hirsch: “I’ve got to change that.”
“It’s the sort of thing that wherever Meghan is, if she’s ever read that, she’s going, ‘Patrick, give me a break’” he said.
“I got a lot of eye rolls — that was a constant with Meghan.”
As of Tuesday, Adams has not edited his Instagram bio. He is most well known for his portrayal of Mike on Suits, who is a “genius” without legal qualifications that ends up working for top New York lawyer Harvey Specter.
His character falls in love with Rachel Zane, Meghan’s character, and they end up getting married.
Adams said Meghan has never reached out to him about his Instagram bio, but he is sure that it has earned him an “eye roll”.
He also revealed that he was not on the mailing list for a sample of Meghan’s jam from her brand As ever. Hirsh on the other hand, did receive the jam, but hasn’t tried it because she didn’t want to open the jar.
Speaking on why he thinks he was left of the list, Adams claimed it was because he doesn’t have enough followers.
People reported that back in 2024 Adams revealed via a Reddit thread that he and Meghan are no longer really in touch.
Meghan reportedly got in touch with Adams after he announced that he and Sarah Rafferty, who starred as Donna Paulsen on Suits, were starting a “rewatch” podcast of the show that made them household names.
“Upon hearing about the podcast, I got a lovely text, saying how excited she was for us and asking how she could help in any way,” Adams said.
He also noted that it was “so lovely to still have that kind of support and friendship after so many years apart”.
Adams starred in Wayward, Netflix’s mystery-thriller series with Toni Collette in 2025.
He is currently starring in Paramount’s new series The Madison alongside Michelle Pfeiffer and Matthew Fox.
Adams is married to PLL alum Troian Bellisario, and works alongside her creatively.
