A man has died on a busy street outside Punchbowl train station, in Sydney’s southwest, on Sunday.

He was found unresponsive on the corner of The Boulevarde and Arthur St, Punchbowl, about 5.20am.

NSW Ambulance paramedics performed CPR, but the man died at the scene.

The death is not believed to be suspicious at this stage, NSW Police said.

Initial reports suggest the mad had suffered a medical episode.

The man is yet to be formally identified.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
