Maroubra: NSW Police charge woman after bus fight leads to alleged stabbing with a pen in Sydney’s east

A woman has been charged after an argument on a bus lead to an alleged stabbing rampage with a pen in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.
Police arrested the 41-year-old woman after she allegedly used a pen to stab another woman who she had been involved in an argument with, and then turned on a man who stepped in to help.
At about 11.30am on Saturday the two women, aged 41 and 21, became involved in an argument on the bus travelling along Anzac Parade, Maroubra.

A 34-year-old male passenger attempted to separate the women when he was also allegedly stabbed.
Emergency services met the bus at the shopping centre where the 41-year-old female was arrested and taken to Maroubra Police Station.
Paramedics treated the other woman at the scene before she was taken to Royal Prince Alfred with facial injuries.
The man suffered only minor injuries and did not require transportation to any medical facility.
None of the parties are known to one another.
The woman was charged with two counts of wounding a person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and she was refused bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court on Sunday.
