Peter Brock Drive, Oran Park: Pedestrian killed after being struck by a car in Sydney's Southwest

Police have launched an investigation after a pedestrian was fatally struck by a car in Sydney’s Southwest early Monday morning.

A pedestrian has died after being struck by a car in Sydney’s Southwest early Monday morning.

Emergency services were called to Peter Brock Drive at Oran Park about 4.07am following reports a person had been hit.

NSW Ambulance confirmed paramedics treated the pedestrian at the scene but they could not be saved, 7News reported.

The driver of the car was assessed for minor injuries at the scene.

Police have established a crime scene and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area as investigations continue.
