Murder charge laid after man found fighting for life in Ryde unit dies following alleged assault
A man has been charged with murder after another man was found unconscious in his Sydney apartment and later died in hospital.
Police rushed to the scene to find the man with critical injuries in a Curzon St unit at Ryde, 13km northwest of the Sydney CBD, just after 5pm on Saturday.

He is yet to be formally identified.
The 48-year-old man’s injuries and subsequent death in hospital has prompted a murder investigation.


Investigations involving the State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad lead police to make an arrest at a home in O’Sullivan Rd at Leumeah, about 2.10pm on Sunday.
A 34-year-old man was taken into custody and brought to Campbelltown Police Station.
He was charged with murder and contravene prohibition/restriction in AVO (domestic).
He was refused bail to appear before Campbelltown Local Court on Monday.
