Two drivers have somehow walked away from shocking crashes north west of Sydney just minutes apart.

A ute was torn in half during a high-speed crash before the P-Plate driver wandered from the scene only to be found by emergency services in bushland hours later.

At about 1am on Thursday, the ute left the road and separated into two parts during the crash on Kurmond Rd near Meadows Rd in Kurmond.

On arrival, officers attached to Hawkesbury Police Area Command found a black Holden utility had crashed into a pole near the intersection of Meadows Road.
