Wilton: Man charged with murder after body of 15-year-old boy discovered in bush outside Sydney

Police have charged a man with murder after the body of a 15-year-old boy was discovered in bushland on the outskirts of Sydney.

The man will face court on Sunday charged with allegedly murdering the teenager in Wilton in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Officers attached to Camden police area command were called to bushland off Wilton Park Road, Wilton, at about 7.25am on Saturday, after the body of a 15-year-old boy was discovered.

A crime scene was established, and an investigation was commenced by local detectives, assisted by state crime command’s homicide squad, under strike force polda.

Following a public appeal for information, a 32-year-old man was arrested after presenting himself at Narellan Police Station shortly after 4pm.

He was subsequently charged with murder and refused bail to appear before Parramatta Bail Court on Sunday.

Detectives will allege in court the man stabbed the teen during a physical altercation and inquiries into the incident are continuing.
