New details emerge after man stabbed at Bundamba Bunnings carpark

A man was stabbed multiple times to the torso, with police now hunting a group of people over the incident in a Bunnings carpark southwest of Brisbane.

Police say a man was standing next to his car in the carpark off Mining St, Bundamba about 5.10pm when he was approached by three men.

An altercation broke out between the men, during which one of the men, aged 36, was stabbed in the stomach and arm.

He was rushed to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious but stable condition, and has since been released.

The three men fled the scene in a Toyota Kluger with the Queensland registration 694XJA.

Police say the car had been stolen from a West End address on June 27.

It has not yet been found.

The men are all beleived to be known to each other.

Investigations continue and anyone with any information has been urged to contact police.
