A 17-year-old boy has been stabbed in the face and deliberately hit by a car during a violent late‑night attack outside a St Kilda McDonald’s.
A teenage boy has been stabbed in the face and struck by a car during a violent attack in St Kilda.
The incident began near the drive-thru at McDonald’s on The Esplanade when the victim’s vehicle was rammed just after 10pm.
Someone then approached the car, banging on it before stabbing the 17-year-old in the face at least once, according to a Victoria Police statement.

Police said the victim and his driver got out and tried to flee as the offenders jumped into the victim’s car and “deliberately” rammed the teenage boy with it.
He was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and the Kia was later found abandoned nearby on Fitzroy street.
Officers were told two males of African appearance ran or walked away towards Beaconsfield Parade.
No arrests have been made.
“Detectives are appealing for witnesses of the incidents, or anyone who saw the two vehicles in the St Kilda area just before 10pm to come forward with information,” police said.
“Investigations are ongoing into the circumstances of the incidents and whether the parties are known to each other.”
