“I am concerned ... he may have access to a firearm,” WA Police Minister Paul Papalia said on Wednesday, amid the ongoing search.
“It’s a really concerning matter and if anyone sees this man ... stay clear of him, report it to police and they’ll catch him and bring him to justice shortly.”
Specialist armed officers had swarmed the rural location, about 40km north of Perth, and the police helicopter tracked from above.
Police locked down about 10km of road to try to track him down.
Lilley is described as 178cm tall with a solid build and shaved red hair.
He has a cross tattoo on his left cheek, and was last seen wearing a red and white T-shirt.
