Australian actor Rose Byrne has teased a possible Bridesmaids reunion while walking the red carpet at the Academy Awards.
The Sydney-born star is attending the ceremony as a first-time nominee, earning a nod for Best Actress.
Wearing a stunning black strapless dress with embroidered flowers along the bodice, she joked about the much-talked-about reunion with her co-stars from the hit 2011 comedy.

The actress also addressed reports that a Bridesmaids reunion featuring her co-stars Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph and Melissa McCarthy.
“The reunion is tonight. This is it,” Byrne said.
But when pressed on what fans should expect, she joked that the decision wasn’t hers.
“It is up to Kristin,” she said, referring to Kristin Wiig.
However, Byrne appeared to pour a little cold water on expectations, adding: “I don’t think it’s on the cards”.
The reunion would mark 15 years since the release of the blockbuster comedy Bridesmaids, which became a global hit and earned multiple Oscar nominations.
Byrne is nominated for her performance in If I Had Legs I’d Kick You.
The film follows a woman raising a chronically ill child who spirals into a mental breakdown after the ceiling in her apartment collapses while her husband is away and the pressures of work begin to overwhelm her.
Byrne’s intense performance has been widely praised by critics, with the nomination marking her first recognition at the Oscars.
