Aussie music legend Daryl Braithwaite pulls out of gigs due to health scare
Aussie rocker Daryl Braithwaite has cancelled a Sydney gig due to ill health, the second in the past week.
The much-loved Aussie singer had to postpone shows in Torquay and an Australia Day performance in Cronulla on Sunday. He intends to reschedule the Torquay performance.
The Horses singer, 75, shared the news on Instagram.

By continuing you agree to our Terms and Privacy Policy.“I have had to cancel today’s Cronulla gig due to a medical condition. It is so frustrating trying to make my voice work when it breaks down,” Braithwaite wrote.
Braithwaite revealed he was taking medication.
“You try all of the old and new secret remedies and hope. Many thanks,” he finished.
The singer has been on vocal rest.
He didn’t reveal the illness he was suffering from in the post.
A number of his fans flooded his social media to wish him well.
“Lots of love Daryl ... be kind to yourself ... self-care first,” one fan wrote.
“Oh, gees Daryl, hope you’re OK matey. Sending positive love and energy your way,” another wrote.
“Get better Daryl, Aussie Day is no good without you singing Horses somewhere — it’s our song.”
Braithwaite recently released the new single It’s You, last year.
He teamed-up with legends Tina Arena and Richard Marx to promote the single.
