2024 AFL Draft: Recap the action from the second night at Marvel Stadium
Day two of the AFL draft could see a number of West Australians realise their long-awaited football dreams.
West Coast will get their first selection at 30 in the second round before Fremantle jump in with some late selections.

Pick 68 (Melbourne)
The Demons pick up Aidan Johnson.
He’s a tough, athletic forward who won a flag with Werribee.
He’s also mature-aged.
Pick 68 (West Coast)
The Eagles pass on pick 68.
They will likely now take Malakai Champion in the rookie draft.
Pick 67 (North Melbourne)
Anthony Stevens son River is a Kangaroo.
He plays forward and has a big left-foot kick.
He will need to put in some time in the gym to bulk up.
Pick 66 (Geelong)
Geelong bid on Lennox Hofmann and the Saints decline to match the bid.
Another defender enters the AFL and he’s another fast interceptor.
His parents were born in Switzerland meaning he could join the Saints NGA Academy.
Pick 65 (West Coast)
After the Lions passed the Eagles used pick 65 on Hamish Davis from Claremont.
He was predicted to go in the 30s and played senior WAFL games.
He even picked up goals in the WAFL and will play forward for West Coast in all likelihood.
After such a long wait the young man said it felt like “torture”.
Pick 64 (Hawthorn)
The Hawks have grabbed a midfielder from their academy in Cody Anderson.
His a contest beast who loves to pressure but will need to work on his skills.
Pick 63 (Fremantle)
The Dockers have gone father-son with Matthew Carr’s son.
Jaren is a forward and came on a bit later and is now 20.
He loves to run but has a good talent base.
The Lions were interested in him mid-season.
Pick 62 (Western Bulldog)
Luke Kennedy is off to the Kennel.
He’s another midfielder with a great kick.
Kennedy is a rare player who can kick well on both legs.
Pick 61 (Essendon)
The Bombers have brought in the speed with Rhys Unwin.
He loves to launch off half-back but spends much of his time playing forward.
Has a highly-rated left-foot kick and incredible acceleration.
Pick 60 (St Kilda)
Patrick Said is a Saint.
He is an elite kicking midfielder who is also rated for his running.
