2024 AFL Draft: Follow all the action from the second night at Marvel Stadium
Day two of the AFL draft could see a number of West Australians realise their long-awaited football dreams.
West Coast will get their first selection at 30 in the second round before Fremantle jump in with some late selections.

Pick 45 (St Kilda)
The Saints take West Australian Hugh Boxshall.
The Eagles would likely have taken him with the next pick but the Saints traded up to beat them.
He has modelled himself on Josh Dunkley and he is a running line-breaker.
Played Colts for Claremont.
Pick 44 (Geelong)
Jay Polkinghorne is the newest Cats forward.
He comes from country South Australia and will be a long-term prospect.
He spent time coming out of the goal square this season and his IQ is rated well.
Pick 43 (Carlton)
Geelong are getting the bids out of the way early, picking a Carlton father-son.
They forced the Blues into action to nab Ben Camporeale.
He is a midfielder with pedigree but may be a project player.
Ben was labelled as a clearance hunter, which, in time, could take over for Patrick Cripps.
Eagles trade!
West Coast have brought in pick 46 from the Lions while giving up a future third-rounder.
Pick 42 (Brisbane)
The Lions match the bid on academy prospect Ty Gallop from Geelong and keep the tall forward.
He is liked for his strength and marking and may eventually fill the Joe Daniher hole.

Pick 41 (Sydney)
The Swans go with mature-age recruit Riley Bice.
He won a flag with Werribee and was named a VFL player of the year.
He plays in defence and loves the contest.

That’s all the selections for the second round.
West Coast and Fremantle both selected forwards with the Eagles claiming another steal and the Dockers a project.
Pick 40 (Carlton)
Harry O’Farrell will be in the Blues defence next season.
He fought with injury in 2024 but has strong traits in the air.
Pick 39 (Essendon)
Angus Clark is set for the Bombers.
He is a general defender who can be moulded into a one-on-one with good intercept ability or a rebounder.
Has a good tank as well.
