Pick 59 (Adelaide)
Tyler Welsh is a Crow.
The forward has an impressive mark and highlights real.
He is also a father-son selection, with Scott Welsh having played at Adelaide.
Pick 58 (Richmond)
Jasper Alger is headed to the Tigers.
He is a fast, small forward who gets involved in plenty of scoring.
He’s also very agile.
Pick 57 (North Melbourne)
The Kangaroos take East Fremantle’s Luke Urquhart.
He tested brilliantly and showed great endurance.
The West Aussie likes the contest and is said to have a huge upside.
He was coached by Glen Jackovich as a junior.
Pick 56 (Collingwood)
West Aussie Will Hayes is headed to Collingwood.
He is a pure athlete out of Claremont who plays predominantly on the wings.
One the WA clubs may have been eyeing if he slipped any further.
From heartbreak to joy
Pick 55 (Sydney)
Mac Andrew’s brother Riak was the next pick for the Swans.
He was a Melbourne NGA product but they passed on matching.
He is an intercepting defender but is lightly built.
Pick 54 (Carlton)
Lucas Camporeale joins his brother at the Blues.
He is very athletic and a good runner with a high work rate.
Pick 53 (St Kilda)
Alexander Dodson is finally off the board and headed to St Kilda.
The Sturt boy was expected to be taken 20 picks ago and was one of the expert’s favourites for his ability to win his own ball.
He stands at 203cm but his basketball background has made him very agile.
Perhaps a steal for the Saints with him being an underage All-Australian.
Pick 52 (Geelong)
It’s South Australia’s night so far as Jacob Molier joins the Cattery.
He is a fast-running ruck who may be able to develop up forward as well.
He’s just turned 18 and will need time to learn his craft at AFL level.
Pick 51 (Western Bulldogs)
Sam Davidson is a Bulldog.
He is a diamond-in-the-rough forward who can play tall and small at 191cm.
He has a great tank and travelled around the lower leagues to help his development.
Compared to Ryan Maric from West Coast.
