Fremantle has now won 13 games in a row to claim another record with a tight victory over Geelong.

The Cats, who are the only team to beat Fremantle, were without Bailey Smith and Tom Stewart while the Dockers regained Caleb Serong, Brennan Cox and Matthew Johnson.

Recap all the action from our blog below.

Chris Robinson

Longmuir on Seven

Freo’s coach spoke to Seven pre-game on who he expectes Oisin Mullin to tag (Chris Scott earlier hinted it would be Caleb Serong) and Geelong’s versatility.

He’s also admitted while things are different this season, the Dockers haven’t handled outside praise in the past: “I don’t think we’ve done it great in the past... I think we’ve got caught up in outside noise, especially when things are going well.”

Milestones

Fremantle skipper Alex Pearce notches his 150th game in purple tonight and continues to prove himself as one of the game’s elite defenders.

Meanwhile, the Cats will make a unique peice of history as Chris Scott coaches Mark Blicaves for the 307th time!

Stealth

The Dockers are showing off their Stealth kits at home tonight and there will be some stealth themed entertainment before the game and during the breaks.

The kits have brought the club plenty of success and they will be hoping for a boost tonight to claim a 13th straight win.

It would mean breaking the record for the longest winning streak by a WA club!

Excuses ready?

Tonight is expected to be very close to a sell out so if you need to get away from work do it ASAP!

The Dockers are even hopeful for a record as the fans already begin to pour in.

Welcome!

Optus Stadium is looking a treat but it is very cold as the players run through some early warm-ups.

Josh Treacy was so eager to get out there he walked through the NGA warm-up game and had to wait for the ball to get to the other end.

Geelong are missing a couple tonight but they are the only team to take down the Dockers so we are set for a good one.
