Plenty of big deals to unfold before tonight's 7:30pm AEDT deadline.

It’s D-Day for AFL trades, with clubs racing the clock to complete deals and a swathe of big names still left on the table. Follow all the action in our live trade blog!

Charlie Curnow is the name being discussed the most as a potential shift from Carlton to Sydney looms, while we wait to see what will take place with the likes of Christian Petracca, Zach Merrett, Clayton Oliver, Rowan Marshall, Callum Ah Chee and more.

Stay across the day’s developments as they happen here!

No deal

Callum Ah Chee won’t be traded to Adelaide.

He could still make the move via the draft but it gets complicated.

Shaking hands (Curnow a Swan)

The Swans team have shaken hands with Carlton and it looks like Charlie Curnow is now a Swan.

Carlton get a 2025 first, 2026 first and 2027 first plus Will Hayward.

Aaron Kirby

Five-minute warning

We have five minutes left and any deal still being haggled over is in trouble.

Aaron Kirby

Rowan Marshall

Geelong are offering pick 19 and a future second-rounder for the Saints ruck and Marshall’s manager looked happy so it could be accepted.

Aaron Kirby

Oh boy

Merrett could remain a Bomber.

His manager Tom Petroro looks angry in the Hawks’ room, pointing fingers and slamming his stuff down on the table.

The Hawks staff appear like a group that have offered all they are willing to.

Essendon appear to still want four first-round picks and a second-rounder.

Aaron Kirby

Charlie Curnow

This is the likely outcome for the Blues forward to land in Sydney.

The Swans would accept Pick 42 back from the Blues with Charlie Curnow, while giving up Pick 11, a future first and Will Hayward.

Aaron Kirby

Cal Ah Chee

Adelaide are offering the Lions a future second and a future third to get dual premiership forward Ah Chee to the Crows.

No news on the Lions’ thoughts.

Aaron Kirby

Who’s left?

Still a lot of deals trying to get done including Zach Merrett, Charlie Curnow, Cullam Ah Chee, Rowan Marshall and Bhuku Khamis.

There is even a chance that none of them get done and it’s highly unlikely all of them do.

Aaron Kirby

Suns fans rejoice

How are we feeling about Petracca the Sun?

Not sure the new shade of red quite jives.

Aaron Kirby

Will Essendon crack?

The reported final offer for Zach Merrett.
