Key Events
North Melbourne rejects Simpkin offer
The Pies reportedly offered a future second-rounder for the Roos captain.
Given they were asking for two first-rounders that was never going to get it done.
Not that moose!
Ugle-Hagan secures Suns lifeline
The Suns give up pick No.74, which the Bulldogs won’t use as Jamarra sings on a one-year deal.
It’s a low risk high-reward payoff for the Suns while the Bulldogs clear off a boatload of money.

Jamarra Ugle-Hagan deal imminent
The former No.1 draft pick will join Gold Coast on a one-year deal for pick No.74.
It’s a big fall from grace but hopefully he can find a fresh start away from Melbourne.
A surprise name as Finnbar Maley has been traded to Adelaide.
Maley is not a name that has been mentioned at all this trade period until now with the Roo’s forward joining the Crows.
Adelaide give up pick 57 and a future fourth while North Melbourne give up Maley and pick 64 in return.
For basketball fans, Maley is the younger brother of Anneli Maley of the Perth Lynx.

Hawks and Carlton reportedly agree to pick swap
The Blues will get 9, 31, 42 and 43 while the Hawks will get picks 10 & 22, per Riley Beveridge.
Hawthorn will then package those together for Merrett, while Sydney had asked for that pick No.22 as part of the trade for Curnow.
Some big implications could come out of this one.
Jiath joins the Demons
He joins for pick 42 and a future fourth.
Jai Serong set for Swans
Surprised this one took so long after the Hawthorn defender nominated the Swans over a potential move to Fremantle.
He joins for a future third while the Swans also get a future fourth round pick back.
Suns closing in on Petracca deal
Tom Morris has broken down what it will look like with the Suns set to give up picks 7 & 8 plus a future first rounder for Petracca and picks 24 and 28.
The Suns are going chips in on the Melbourne star while making sure they still ahve the points to match academy bids.
