Suns need to grab the next few, otherwise, the Dockers will run away with it.

The rain made that a tough quarter to watch with only one goal kicked.

The footy has slipped off the side of the boot of most set shots while it proved tough to pick up from both sides.

The down side of Fremantle’s lethal fast use is it can’t stand up in slippery conditions, the margin for error is just too small.

Reid is still dominating for the home side with nearly 20 touches and probably needs some attention from the likes of Touk Miller.

Clark also came into the contest more with the Suns getting forward.

Rowell and Petracca are leading the clearances but have not done much outside of that.

The Dockers are losing the clearance count 10-20 and it is starting to tell a little.

Gold Coast were more than 40 disposals down in the first term but that gap has closed to 17.

Freo are still dominating inside 50s which is why the Suns are struggling to score, all those touches are in the back half trying to escape.

The Sun has also come back out over Optus and Fremantle will hope it can dry things up quickly.

The rain has enabled the Suns back into the game with the wet ball really slowing the Dockers down.

The home side have been unable to gather as cleanly as they did in the first term while it was dry and the slog is keeping the Suns in the contest.

The Dockers are still the better team but the movement is becoming over use in the conditions.
