RECAP: Walyalup (Fremantle) Dockers eye road win against Greater Western Sydney
Walyalup (Fremantle) has exorcised their road trip Demons in a crucial victory over Greater Western Sydney.
Shai Bolton, Caleb Serong and Andrew Brayshaw shone but it was a pair of role-playing forwards who made the ultimate difference.

Three-word analysis
FULL TIME: Greater Western Sydney 61, Walyalup 95
The Giants grabbed a couple of late goals to reduce the margin but this is one of the Dockers’ best wins in a long while.
They were starring down the barrell of three straight losses and losing touch with the eight but this win levels them with the Giants who were just inside the eight to start the round.
Serong had a monster night with 36 disposals, seven clearances, three tackles and 673 metres gained.
Brayshaw was also huge with 30 disposals but it was much-improved performances from forward-half role players Fredericks and Amiss that counted.
Fredericks was stellar in the first half and ended with an equal career-high three goals while Amiss ends with two goals.
Bolton’s efforts should not be sneezed at either.
He was pivotal to Walyalup getting in front during the first half and ends with three goals alongside 24 disposals.
The Dockers remain a hard team to tip but will celebrate their first win at ENGIE Stadium well.

Simpson took a great one-handed mark back with the flight before being handed a 50-metre penalty when Toby Greene tripped him.
Greene has had a poor day, going goalless.

The Dockers are well in control of this one.
For almost the first time this season they have been the more skillful side and if they had kicked straight it would be showing on the scoreboard.
Bolton, Amiss and Frederick have been the stars of the forward half while Serong and Brayshaw have been strong in midfield.
The best news for Walyalup is they lead despite Sam Taylor keeping Josh Treacy goalless.
The Giants have an injury concern with Finn Callaghan hurting his shoulder.

It’s a strange game so far.
