Australia start day four in trouble after Temba Bavuma put them to the sword but the pitch is flat and if they can survive the new ball, there are runs to be had.
Kagiso Rabada picked up Nic Maddinson for a duck on Tuesday night and will be firing in with the Proteas needing to win this Test in Gqeberha to keep the series alive.
And don’t forget Anrich Nortje and Marco Jansen, who will be eager to make up for defeat in the first Test.

Rabada push
With half an hour to the break, Rabada is back on to try and prize a Steve Smith record.
He has a very good record against Smith, especially in South Africa and at St George’s Park.
AUS 4-61
Getting in
This is a nice period for the Australians.
Mulder and Harmer are bowling in tandem and while they have been very tidy, it gives Renshaw and Smith time to get set and soften the ball.
Nortje’s injury may just be the reprieve they need to ensure they get the draw, or find a way to put some pressure onto South Africa to set a total ahead of the fourth innings.
AUS 4-55
On no!
Nortje appears to have over done it playing in back-to-back Tests.
He is leaving the field mid-over with an issue.
He tried to stretch out a groin but has left the field with a towel over his face.
That hurts the Proteas.
AUS 4-51
Drinks
Australia lose three wickets in the first hour and are going to need Matt Renshaw to dig deep for them again.
The total they are looking at is 225 to pass the follow-on.
With so much time taken out of the match with rain it will be tough for South Africa to have enough time to take 20 wickets and have to bat again.
AUS 4-48
Soft hands
Renshaw nicks his second ball but it rolls into the slips cordon safely.
AUS 4-46
Blinder!
Nortje claims Labuschagne after Harmer takes a ripper in the slips!
Labuschagne tried to drive a full ball but it just moved on him and takes the outside edge.
The catch was one-handed with the wrong hand. Amazing effort!
AUS 4-45
Change
Nortje is into the attack.
Smith and Labuschagne are working nicely and not taking too many risks.
History is on Australia’s side. They have never lost 19 wickets across the final two days of a Test to suffer defeat.
AUS 3-45
Speed broken?
Rabada has just clocked a ball at 154.4km/h!
Nortje hit 150km/h in the first Test but this is coming from a man who seven weeks ago ripped his hamstring.
But Marnus and Smith and playing it very well so far.
AUS 3-29
Glorious!
Smith gives Rabada a taste of brilliance with a great back-foot drive to the rope.
These two hold the key to the destiny of this Test.
AUS 3-27
Head trapped by Jansen!
Jansen strikes Head on the pad after a bit of seam and they’ve sent it upstairs after it was given not out.
It’s very close and ball tracking sends Head on his way!
It came back at him and hit on middle and off and ball tracking says the ball was hitting middle.
Head goes for 14 from 24.
AUS 3-22
