SCG Test Day one: Australia on top but Jasprit Bumrah strikes late to fire up India
After a dramatic Boxing Day Test Australia are in the box seat to win the Border-Gavaskar Trophy but India have made a huge call as they look to flip the script in Sydney.

Bumrah could be tasty
Australia still need one more wicket but Khawaja and Konstas may not want the bowlers to get it.

Krishna goes down swinging
He launches Starc high to midwicket for two and tries to repeat the shot next ball but it goes squarer and Konstas sits under it to take the catch.

India having a swing
These two aren’t going to hang around and are swinging at absolutely everything.
Krishna plays and misses twice before picking up a leg bye as Bumrah clears the front leg and launches Boland down the ground for back to back boundaries ruining his economy.

WASHINGTON OUT ON REVIEW
Short down the legside and Carey thinks Sundar has gloved it.
Cummins reviews but doesn’t look overly convinced and there’s something on snicko with the ball close to the gloves.
Wilson is looking for a visual deflection but it’s not as clear cut as Jaiswal. Wilson decided the mumur is the glove and Washington has to go.
He’s not happy with the call and expect plenty more DRS debate after that.

Washington farming the strike
India have three No.11’s in Krishna, Bumrah and Siraj though Bumrah can whack a few.
Washington Sundar is therefore farming the strike pinging some boundaries of Beau Webster before surviving Starc and pulling/swatting a single off the last ball to deep square.
Starc gets Jadeja!
Starc is definitely feeling his back as he puts some work into it at the drinks break.
His spell so far has been a bit wayward with some short wide stuff but also still producing a great ball that cuts Jadeja in half.
OUT! A searing inswinger yorker hits Jadeja on the pad and it’s given!
It’s out of hope more than anything and it’s crashing into middle stump, a classic Starc dismissal.
Beau Webster not releasing the pressure
He’s bowled 10 overs for just 13 runs and had a catch put down at gully.
Like Boland, he’s on a line outside off and has beaten the bat plenty of times but the edges haven’t come.
He’s about 10kph slower than a bowler but he’s deserved a wicket.
Jadeja finds two with a thickish edge through gully.
