Australia continued its impressive run of gold medals on day 11 of the Paris Olympics, but this one had a twist that will go down in history.
Boomers stay arms length away
The Serbians are closing in but the Boomers are keeping the cushion at double digits.

Chinese superstar Quan Honchang scored perfect 10s, the first of the diving compeition, with her first dive.
The Chinese pair are favourites to claim gold and silver, with the remaining 10 divers expected to fight for bronze.
Form slips but Aussies are Booming
Despite a slip in play late in the second, Australia maintains a 54-39 lead over Serbia in the men’s basketball quarter-final at the main break.
The Boomers are 20 minutes away from major upset, but will need to find their first quarter form if they want to put the game away.
Patty Mills (20 points) and Josh Giddey (13 points) have been massive early, but reigning NBA MVP Nikola Jokic (11 points) has been imposing early.

After the umpires re-watched the footage, they gave the call in favour of Avramovic and left Exum with a tech.

The WA product Duop Reath was left wide open from three and made the Serbians pay for it, draining the bucket to put the Boomers up 44-20.
He has seen limited playing time this games but coach Goorjian clearly sees a favourable matchup for the 6’10 centre.

Serbia has been forced to call another time out, just 1.30mins into the second after the Boomers have taken a 20 point lead.
