Michigan: Police search for woman who ‘donated human skull’ to Goodwill

Police are searching for a woman they believe donated a human skull to an op shop.
CCTV captured the unidentified woman at a Goodwill in Michigan, where it is understood she dropped off the skull wrapped in a shirt on January 26.
“One of the items appears to have been accidentally included in the donations,” the Chelsea, Michigan, police said in a statement.

Police confirmed to People that an officer was called to the Goodwill, located on Main Street in Chelsea, after a report was made of a suspicious item at the drop-off point.
“Upon arrival, the officer met with the complainant who stated that they had recently discovered what appeared to be a human skull, wrapped in a shirt,” police said.
The attending officer took the skull and said it appeared to be undamaged, but it is undergoing medical examination for further analysis.
“The case remains open pending further investigation to determine the circumstances and origin of the item.”
In their statement of Facebook, police encouraged the public to come forward with information about the women.

This comes after a woman gave birth in Iowa after not knowing she was pregnant in the first place.
Amethyst Blumberg was going about her day at a FedEx facility in Grimes, Iowa, on January 26 when she was hit with an unexpected delivery.
She told KCCI that toward the end of her shift at 8am she felt overcome with the need to use the restroom.
“After that, I couldn’t even get off the toilet,” Ms Blumberg said.
She rushed to the bathroom door and yelled out for help.
Paramedics were called, but as they were sent out, Ms Blumberg’s child was already close to being born.
“I get up, and I feel his head,” she told the outlet.”
Medics arrived at the facility at 8.29am, and the baby boy was delivered just four minutes later at 8.33am.
