Belfield: Woman dies after car crashes into house in Sudney’s western suburbs
A woman has been killed and a crime scene has been established after the car she was travelling in smashed into a house in Sydney’s western suburbs.
At about 10.30am, emergency services were called to Punchbowl Road, Belfield, following reports of the crash.
Officers attached to Auburn police area command attended and found a vehicle had crashed into a house.

She was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics, however was pronounced dead at the scene.
The woman is yet to be formally identified.
The driver of the car, an 82-year-old man, was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital in a stable condition.
Police established a crime scene and commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
