Woman taken to hospital after Molotov cocktails thrown at house.

A 45-year-old woman has been hospitalised after a Molotov cocktail was thrown at her home in Sydney’s north.

She was sitting on the front verandah of the home on Harkeith St in Mona Vale on Sunday night when the incendiary bomb was thrown just before 10.30pm.

A fire “broke out on the verandah” on impact, but the woman quickly extinguished it with a garden hose before calling emergency services, NSW Police said.
