Kingston: Police arrest and charge two children after Coles supermarket set on fire in Tasmania
Police have rounded up and charged two children after they allegedly set fire to a Coles supermarket in Tasmania.
The two youths have been charged over two deliberately lit fires in Kingston on Wednesday night.
Police allege the two boys set fire to vegetation in John Street, Kingston at about 6pm, before starting a fire inside the Coles Kingston supermarket, causing smoke damage estimated to be between $25,000 and $75,000.

Kingston Police took two youths, aged 12 and 15, into custody nearby and they were interviewed by Hobart CIB and charged with offences including unlawfully set fire to property and unlawfully set fire to vegetation.
They were given conditional bail to appear in Youth Justice Court at a later date.
