Violence has erupted in front of late night diners, leaving four men in hospital after two feuding groups came to blows in the middle of a popular restaurant.

Shocking footage shows the brawl beginning in the bathroom of Left Bank, in Melbourne’s Southbank, just after midnight, with punches flying before kicks are thrown between the two groups.

The violence quickly spilled into the dining room where all hell broke loose, with a crowd of shocked patrons watching on as at least a dozen men punched on.

One man was seen picking up a chair as the restaurant descended into chaos, with terrified diners scrambling to get out of the way.

Police arrived shortly after the incident, but everyone involved in the brawl had already fled the scene.

Someone was spotted walking towards Crown Casino covered in blood following the violent altercation.

Just hours later, four victims showed up to hospital. They were all from NSW and were suffering minor injuries.

Today, detectives returned to the restaurant to investigate who was involved and what started the wild brawl.

So far, no arrests have been made as the investigation continues.
