Jelly Roll split: Bunnie XO reveals her famous ex is already dating and they’re still having baby together

Bunnie Xo has spoken publicly for the first time about her split from rapper Jelly Roll, revealing a surprising dynamic between the pair and claiming the country star has already moved on.

The comments come after it emerged earlier this week that Jelly Roll, real name Jason Bradley DeFord, filed for divorce in Tennessee back in May.

On her Dumb Blonde podcast, Bunnie, real name Alisa DeFord, said despite the separation, the former couple remain close and continue to support each other through the transition.

She described the singer as her “best friend” and said that even after the breakup, they are still planning to have a baby together.

“J and I have lost four embryos, we’ve had three transfers but we lost two twins that we were going to try to have, then we lost the other two,” she said.

“Anybody who’s going through that, it is gut-wrenching, it’s so heartbreaking.

“And you guys are going to be shocked to hear this but, yes, we’re still having a baby together.”

In another revelation, she also said Jelly Roll has already re-entered the dating world.

Bunnie said: “Has my husband started dating? Yes, he has - and we’re happy for him.

“And I’m excited to discover myself single.”

She added that “Daddy Roll” is thriving in this new phase of his life, saying: “Daddy Roll is probably in his finest season, right? He’s feeling himself. He looks so good. He is healthier than he’s ever been.”

Rather than any bitterness, Bunnie appeared supportive of his new chapter, even joking that his “DMs are open” and encouraging potential admirers to reach out.

When discussing what kind of partner might suit him next, she said: “He needs a really sweet girl who is normal and isn’t like, f...ing trying to be an influencer,” she said.

“No offense to anybody, but I think he wants the complete opposite of me, which is what he deserves.”

Despite her light tone, Bunnie admitted she is not rushing into anything herself and is instead focusing on personal growth.

“The crazy thing is, I’m not even ready to hook up with a dude,” she shared.

“I’m ready to focus on myself and pour into myself.”

She also reflected on how the split unfolded, saying she was initially caught off guard despite being part of the argument that triggered it.

Bunnie recalled a Mother’s Day disagreement where she told him: “Well, then file the f...ing divorce papers, and in our relationship that is the one cardinal thing you don’t say.”

She later left the home, saying the pair went weeks without speaking before the legal process was set in motion.

“He was so mad and we were so emotional that he ended up doing exactly what I told him to do and filing the divorce papers,” she said.

“Was I blindsided, was this divorce mutual?

“No it was not mutual. Even though I told him to file the divorce papers, I was speaking out of anger and frustration. But was it necessary for us to have a wakeup call and to actually start having these real conversations? Absolutely.

“I lost 15 pounds over this. He’s my best friend.

“I felt like we deserved the chance to go to therapy... he didn’t think so.”
