Tammy Hembrow has taken a sharp and unmistakably pointed swipe at Geelong star Bailey Smith.

Without naming him directly, the Gold Coast fitness influencer implies he gives her the “ick” in a new video.

The sledge appeared in a post on Hembrow’s Instagram account on Wednesday, where she is asked to rank different situations as either giving her “butterflies” or the “ick”.

Responding to “When he’s divorced with kids”, she laughed and said, “butterflies, I am also divorced with kids”.

Then came the obvious jab aimed at Smith.

When replying to “When they only want to talk about footy,” Hembrow said “ick,” before adding, “only because I don’t really know anything about footy, I can’t really contribute to that conversation.”

The term “ick” refers to a sudden feeling of repulsion or disgust toward someone, leading to a loss of attraction.

The video was posted as part of Hembrow’s partnership with hook-up app Tinder. Smith also had a paid partnership with Tinder in July, to promote its double date feature.

Their whole situationship could potentially have been a PR stunt, or Tinder just hopped onto a golden opportunity after the pair made headlines.

Rumours first swirled about a whirlwind romance between Hembrow and Bailey in August when the pair were spotted walking hand-in-hand on the Gold Coast after dining at fancy Burleigh restaurant Rick Shores.

Later that month, they hard-launched their relationship with a racy photo during a dinner date in Melbourne.

Last week, Hembrow seemingly called Smith “boring” in a podcast interview, after the footy star told morning radio program Kyle and Jackie O they were “just friends” prior to the Brownlow Medal night.

Hembrow opened up about a recent date on the podcast Mad About You and fans were quick to connect the dots.

“I haven’t been on many dates until recently, really,’’ she said.

Then came the apparent Smith swipe.

“I never really dated. I sort of just met someone and that was that. But I did go on a date with a guy … it’s literally the only guy I went on a date with … he was just so boring,” she said.

Hembrow went on to hint at how the pair first connected.

“If I speak to someone online or meet them online, I want to meet them face to face straight away,” she added.

“I’m not really a texter or anything like that. If you’re trying to talk to me, I need to meet you face to face.

“So we went on a date and it was just like … I was just so bored.

“He was really like lovely. I’m like super goofy and weird and hyper active and I can’t be bored.”

She also reflected on her nerves leading up to the date.

“I was nervous as well,” she revealed.

“Maybe I’m boring and he’s matching my energy.”

The comments come just months after Hembrow confirmed she had filed for divorce from husband Matt Zukowski following seven months of marriage.

She admitted it had been a challenging time but said she was learning to care less about outside noise.

“(It’s been tough) especially in the beginning,’’ she said.

“Now I’m at a point where I couldn’t care less what anyone says about anything.

“I feel like in the beginning when I was navigating the breakdown of my relationship it was especially (challenging) then. People were like, she’s not wearing her ring, and I was dealing with it in the moment myself and having people comment on stuff.

Hembrow said she considers herself “a normal person” but admitted she’s “not great at love.”

“It feels like that. I’m just like a normal person and I am just going through things that normal people would go through,” she said.

“I don’t look up my name, I don’t have google alerts.

“Occasionally a friend or someone will send me something and most of the time I’m like, just don’t. I feel like it does impact your mental health especially when it’s stuff that’s not even true, that’s literally the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard.

“Pretty much all the frickin’ headlines are all completely wrong. It’s all clickbait, it’s ridiculous. I try to not look — out of sight, out of mind. I try to focus on my life. Otherwise I would be in a mental spiral. I do have a thick skin but it still does get to you.”
