That’s all the selections for the second round.
West Coast and Fremantle both selected forwards with the Eagles claiming another steal and the Dockers a project.
Pick 40 (Carlton)
Harry O’Farrell will be in the Blues defence next season.
He fought with injury in 2024 but has strong traits in the air.
Pick 39 (Essendon)
Angus Clark is set for the Bombers.
He is a general defender who can be moulded into a one-on-one with good intercept ability or a rebounder.
Has a good tank as well.
Pick 38 (Port Adelaide)
The Power add to their midfield stocks with hard-working South Australian Christian Moraes.
He is a gut runner that can help in defence and get forward to sneak a goal.
His disposal may need some work.
Pick 37 (Essendon)
West Perth ruckman Kayle Gerreyn is a Bomber!
The ruckman is very mobile and can make a difference up forward with a strong kick.
He stands at 199cm and has a cool demeanour.
Pick 36 (Greater Western Sydney)
Midfielder Jack Ough is off to the Giants.
He stands at 194cm and could end up being a powerful beast after a few AFL pre-seasons.
Ough is known for his clean hands and vision.
Pick 35 (Hawthorn)
The Hawks get their first pick of the draft and take Noah Mraz.
He missed almost the entire year with injury but the key defender was on track for a high pick after a great year as a 17-year-old.
He has a big frame and is 198cm tall.
Pick 34 (Fremantle)
Fremantle took their full time to land on forward Charlie Nicholls.
They may have been hoping Jack Whitlock slipped one more spot but Nicholls can play forward and back at 197cm.
He shows good speed for his height and has strong hands.
The South Australian could make an impact earlier than expected.
