Footy’s back with a blast from the past as the Indigenous All Stars return for the first time in 10 years to take on Fremantle in what is set to be an electric curtain raiser for the AFL season.

Follow all the action live below, with bouncedown set for 4.30pm.

Final quarter underway

Karl Amon boots through a behind.

Liam Ryan lays a massive tackle to catch Wagner with the ball and the All Stars burst into transition.

There’s clever work to keep the ball alive in the pocket and Jesse Motlop gets the crumb to finish it off.

THREE-QUARTER TIME All Stars 12.8 (80) Fre 7.8 (50)

Another dominant quarter for the All Stars who genuinely look so electric out there.

The Dockers just can’t move the ball fast enough and even without Walters and Bolton who have no been rested the All Stars are all over the Dockers.

Bobby Hill with his fourth

Jordan Clark takes way too long in defence as Maurice Rioli puts enough pressure on the kick to force the turnover.

Hill runs out the back to receive the easy kick and kcik his fourth from the goal sqaure.

Horne-Francis hits back

He is so good putting through his third goal to go with his 15 touches and three clearances playing mostly at half forward.

The Dockers just caught flat flooted in defence after losing a one-on-one.

Frederick gets his third

He’s been a constant presence up forward today but this goal was set up by Josh Treacy who sprinted in to intercept the ball coming out of defence having read the play so well.

Frederick makes no mistake in front of the sticks.

Bobby Hill has three!

He missed an easy one in the second quarter but from the pocket he nails the snap around the corner to put through his third goal.

IAS 9.5 (59) FRE 6.8 (44)

Sharp bangs one from 50

He’s continued the good form he showed last season into this game carving it up on the wing and hitting the scoreboard.

He’s just outside 50 on the 45 but this sails through the middle to make it a 10 point game.

Simpkin goals!

There’s a stoppage about 10m away from the All Stars goal.

The Dockers get sucked in and Simpkin is left out the back as he snaps his first goal of the evening to stretch the margin to 17.

Big emotions for Jy who points to the sky and then has a few tears as she comes to the bench.

Second half underway

“She’s pretty hot in the contest,” Tim Kelly says.

“She’s a pretty good game at the moment, it’s been pretty fast-paced at times and our coach has said just to slow it down at times.”

The Dockers kick a behind to open the second half scoring.

Good crowd in

37,500 fans have made their way through the gates. A terrific effort and it’s certainly created a great atompshere
