Games record!
Ryan races to bronze!
Young star Tate Ryan has won the bronze in the sprint finals, earning his first Commonwealth Games medal.
He clean swept Harry Ledingham-Horn with two wins to avoid a decider race.
It was a tighter contest in the second but regardless he will walk away the winner.
Silver medal for Coughlan!
World number one judo fight Aoife Coughlan has failed to defend her Birmingham gold in the medal fight, instead walking away with silver.
It was a tough matchup against Kelly Petersen-Pollard despite her world class.
She copped three yellow cards that saw her lose the match, still a valiant effort for the Victorian.
Hoffman follows suit
Leigh Hoffman needs one more win for gold in the individual sprint.
He looked comfortable in the clash against Nicholas Paul, winning with ease.
The team cyclist is looking to add an individual gold to his collection.
Ryan wins race one
Tate Ryan takes race one of three for bronze.
His lead was so severe that Harry Ledingham-Horn gave up in the final lap.
Despite that Ryan powered ahead right to the very end.
Marcks collects silver!
Claudia Marcks’ time held on for a silver medal win, adding to the gold she won in the team pursuit earlier this week.
She was beaten for gold by just 0.322 by Wales’ Emma Finucane.
It continues a stunning start to her Commonwealth career.
Out of the medal race
Liliya Tatarinoff has been pushed out of medal contention by Scotland’s Ellie Stone.
Aussie Marcks still sits in gold position with five to go.
Marcks moves up
Claudia Marcks has shot to the top with a personal best ride.
It pushes Perth’s Tatarinoff down to third, after Wales’ Megan Baker jumped her time.
Another Australian medal
Keishin Ochi wins a brozne in the men’s 81kg judo contest.
His bout against India’s Harsh Tokas didn’t go the distance, winning via Ippon.

Up top for Tatarinoff
Perth’s Liliya Tatarinoff has hit the top of the 1km time trial, clocking a 1.06.890.
There is still a crowd of cyclists yet to ride but its a promising start for the youngster.
Her time sets a new Commonwealth Games record, but its also the first time this event has been run at the games. Still an accolade she can hang her hat on.
Silver for Saya!
It’s a silver medal Perth judo fight Saya Middleton after her prize fight went down to golden point.
She put in a honest shift, taking Canada’s Laurence Biron down to the wire - but three faults gave her opponent the win.
With two to her name in the final stages she took big risks and it didn’t pay off, but the 23-year-old has done Perth proud.
