It was a chaotic race in the men’s 10km scratch final with nine cyclists going down in a crash.

But Thomas Cornish rose above the scenes and won a silver medal in a photo finish.

Two riders are being tended to by medical staff, fortuatnely none of the Aussie cyclists were caught up in the curfuffle.

Leigh Hoffman is just too good on the track, winning gold medal in the sprint and his first individual.

Coming off a gold in the team sprint, Hoffman was unfazed by any tactic that Nicholas Paul threw at him.

It adds another gold to Australia’s tally, taking the total up to a staggering 60 in Glasgow.
