Commonwealth Games: All the live action from penultimate day of the Games in Glasgow

A late rally from Georgia Baker has won her a bronze medal in the taxing 25km points race.

She finished with 51 on the trot, just one back of the silver medal.

Welsh duo Anna Morris and Jessica Roberts took out the top two spots.

We are in the home stretch of the 25km race with 10 laps remaining.

Baker is holding on to the bronze position with one sprint to go, she needs to win the next to steal silver.

There are 20 laps and two intermediate sprints to go.

Georgia Baker has shot herself up to third place with 42 points, trailing the Welsh duo who lead with 56 and 50.

Alyssa Polites has dropped back to eighth with 28 points.

Sophie Edwards hasn’t managed to add anymore to her name yet.

Alyssa Polites is part of a group of four cyclists that have lapped the field, picking up 20 points to go with her five for a sprint win.

She sits up top of the leaderboard as they close in on the half way mark.

There has been a nasty crash during the race.

The packed was hudled together and three cyclists hit the deck in scary scenes.

Sophie Edwards is the first Aussie to open her account, picking up three points for a second place finish.

New Zealand’s Ally Wollaston has won the first two sprints - building up a quick lead with 10 points.

Every 10 laps there is a sprint with points on offer for the winners.

The first sprint has come and gone back the Aussie trio were lagging behind.

A test of skill and stamina is underway, the 25km point race.

100 laps around the velodrome already sounds exhausting but the women have to worry about the points strategy as well.

Like a shark smelling blood in the water Leigh Hoffman was hunting Tate Ryan and flew past him for the semi-final win.

Ryan elected to go off instead of tyre stand, but it likely wouldn’t of mattered with Hoffman having a wealth of experience in the field.

Hoffman will now represent Australia in the gold medal race and Ryan in the bronze.

Perth’s Kane Perris has added another bronze medal to his growing collection.

The tandem sprint final didn’t need three races, with him and Luke Zaccaria sweeping the Malaysian sprint team for the bronze.

He had already wont a bronze this games and will come home with a much heavier neck.
