The 20-year-old was kept quiet early, but had 14 points in the first half to help his team to their 39-36 lead at the main break.

Jess Fox registered the second-fastest time of the first run and the second runs begin from 12.10am.
Carter through to men’s canoe semifinal
Aussie Tristan Carter is through to the semifinal of the men’s canoe, with his first time good enough to secure a spot in the top 16.
The 25-year-old finished with a time of 94.19 in the first heat, but errors prevented him stting a better time in the second.
The semifinal is on Monday, July 29.
Basketball: Brazil off to hot start against host nation
Early in the first quarter, Brazil have gotten off to a strong start leading 12-5 against France.
The host nation boasts multiple NBA talents including Victor Wembanyama and Rudy Gobert, but Brazil are holding their own early.

Nicholas Lum and MinHyung Gee have fallen to Romania.
It looked promising at one set apiece, but the wheels fell off for the Aussie pair.
They didn’t claim another set as Romania ran away with the match.
Jess Fox second fastest in first canoe slalom run
Aussie Jess fox has had a 95.20 run in her first canoe slalom run of the Games.
Her run was second out of the field, with France’s Camille Prigent going through heat one the fastest with a time of 94.67.

She’s the favourite to take home the gold, after taking home gold in Tokyo.

Nicholas Lum and MinHyung Gee are in action in mixed doubles Table Tennis, playing against Romania.
After losing the first set they put in a fast-paced, power-packed second set to even the score and have taken the lead in the third set.
