Australian BMX medal fancy Logan Martin’s quest for back-to-back Olympic gold medals is over after failing to finish his final run in the men’s park freestyle final.

Leaving it all out on the arena, Martin executed a number of incredible stunts before a lack of speed proved his undoing.

Clipping the lip of a ramp on the dismount, Martin lost control on the descent and planted his foot on the ground, bringing his run and medal chances to an abrupt end.
